norda is a Canadian trail running brand born from the direct experience of Willa and Nick Martire, runners and professionals in the footwear sector who developed the project with a precise goal: to create a technical shoe capable of combining performance, lightness, and durability without compromises. The first prototypes are tested on trails between Montréal and the Eastern Townships, in very different climatic conditions, and this relationship with the Canadian territory remains central to the brand's identity.
norda research focuses primarily on materials. The uppers use Dyneema® and Bio-Dyneema®, very high-strength fibers used to achieve lightweight and durable constructions, while the collaboration with Vibram® has led to the development of insoles and outsoles specific for trail. Technologies like Litebase and Megagrip are used to reduce weight, increase traction, and maintain control on dry or wet terrain.
