Norda
norda is a Canadian trail running brand born from the direct experience of Willa and Nick Martire, runners and professionals in the footwear sector who developed the project with a precise goal: to create a technical shoe capable of combining performance, lightness, and durability without compromises. The first prototypes are tested on trails between Montréal and the Eastern Townships, in very different climatic conditions, and this relationship with the Canadian territory remains central to the brand's identity.
norda research focuses primarily on materials. The uppers use Dyneema® and Bio-Dyneema®, very high-strength fibers used to achieve lightweight and durable constructions, while the collaboration with Vibram® has led to the development of insoles and outsoles specific for trail. Technologies like Litebase and Megagrip are used to reduce weight, increase traction, and maintain control on dry or wet terrain. The brand's philosophy links sustainability to durability: a product designed to last longer reduces the need for frequent replacements.
norda’s selection on Setaccio is entirely dedicated to trail running footwear and includes models such as 001, 002, and 003 in different colorways, as well as more technical variants of the range. The 001 is designed for long distances, the 002 offers a reduced height to increase ground contact, while the 003 adopts a laceless construction also designed for approach. Dyneema® and Vibram® soles constitute the common technical denominator of the assortment.
