The Beluga/Dusty Beige version develops a color contrast between the dark olive green of the body and the beige of the sleeves, enhancing the alternation of the knits. The torso features a characteristic honeycomb knit, with a three-dimensional and structured surface, while the contrasting sleeves introduce a more uniform texture. The double-faced construction in extrafine merino wool gives the garment a soft hand and a pleasantly enveloping consistency.
The model features a varsity-inspired crew neck, finished with ribbed edges and contrasting stripes, also taken up on the cuffs and hem. The front closure is made with customized Maison Kitsuné snap buttons, while two pockets inserted in the side seams keep the line of the cardigan clean.
The College identity emerges through decorative knitted and embroidered applications: on the front appears the characteristic letter K, while the back is embellished with the large Maison Kitsuné Paris writing, which directly recalls the iconography of American university clothing. The comfort fit, with soft and contemporary proportions, enhances the construction of the garment without compromising its natural fluidity.
Made of pure merino wool, the College cardigan expresses Maison Kitsuné’s ability to reinterpret sportswear codes through refined materials and distinctive details. A garment in which knitwear tradition meets the varsity aesthetic, with a balance between material richness, contemporary construction, and recognizable graphic identity.

THE BRAND
Maison Kitsuné
Maison Kitsuné is a Franco-Japanese brand founded in 2002 by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki. From the beginning the project was born as a true “Art de Vivre,” capable of uniting fashion, music, and coffee culture through Maison Kitsuné, Kitsuné Musique, and Café Kitsuné. This transversal nature defines an identity that puts Paris and Tokyo into dialogue, combining the essentiality of the contemporary wardrobe with graphic, musical, and cultural references that change over time without losing coherence.
The fox is the most recognizable symbol of the maison. “Kitsuné” indeed means fox in Japanese and recalls a legendary figure capable of changing appearance: an image that reflects the brand’s ability to adapt its language to different seasons and collaborations. In ready-to-wear this translates into sweatshirts, T-shirts, knitwear, shirts, trousers, and outerwear built on clean lines, easy-to-combine colors, and iconic details such as Fox Head and the different interpretations of the logo.
The Maison Kitsuné selection on Setaccio is particularly rich in knitwear, cotton sweatshirts and T-shirts, alongside wool and merino wool garments. There are crewneck and hooded sweatshirts, Fox T-shirts, trousers, vests, knitted polos, shirts, and some outerwear. A significant part of the jersey garments is produced in Portugal, while some knitwear articles are made in Italy, creating an assortment that alternates refined sportswear and more structured knitwear.
Maison Kitsuné on Setaccio therefore represents a cosmopolitan wardrobe, immediate yet recognizable. The strength of the brand lies in the ability to transform everyday garments into identity elements through proportions, materials, and graphic symbols, always maintaining a balance between Parisian influence and Japanese sensibility.
