Eight & Bob is a niche perfumery maison built around the narrative heritage of Albert Fouquet, a figure the brand presents as an aristocratic Parisian and passionate creator of essences in the early twentieth century. According to the official history of the maison, during the summer of 1937 on the French Riviera Fouquet met a young John F. Kennedy, who was impressed by the personal fragrance he was wearing and later asked him for some samples for his friends. From that request — “eight, and if possible, one for Bob” — would derive the name Eight & Bob.

The brand uses this heritage as a starting point for a collection of contemporary Eau de Parfums, built around different olfactory families but united by an elegant and narrative image. The Original, Champs de Provence, Mémoires de Mustique, Egypt and Cap d’Antibes are part of the maison’s historical universe, while more recent lines expand the repertoire towards woody, amber, floral and gourmand compositions. Packaging, storytelling and olfactory profile are treated as elements of a single project.

The Eight & Bob selection on Setaccio currently includes Champs de Provence and Mémoires de Mustique, both in Eau de Parfum format, as well as a kit dedicated to hand care. Champs de Provence belongs to the fougère-green family and develops a fresh and citrus profile with bergamot, orange and pear, accompanied by white flowers, mate and musk. The products in the Setaccio selection appear to be made in Spain.
