Spritz patterned ghost socks

It was the first post-war period when Giuseppe Gatti began breeding silkworms in the attic of his home, then selling the cocoons to the spinning mills of Brianza. It is at this time that a family friend finds him a job at a hosiery factory. The name of this dear friend in dialect was “Marculian” and in his honor we named our product line Marcoliani Milano. Since then, more than 60 years have passed and the children, Erminia, Paolo and Carlo, have been able to collect the legacy of this precious knowledge by making it their own and interpreting it in a family-run business capable of combining profound artisanal knowledge with the most sophisticated technological knowledge.
Each Marcoliani Milano sock contains the history of a family, of a territory and of the passion of the people who made it possible.
