THE BRAND
Herno
The "water" element has always had a great influence in the Herno world, particularly in the creation of the product with which it all began: the raincoat.
The coexistence with the water of the lake and the river takes shape and becomes functional in well-designed coats and high-performance jackets, also useful for covering oneself from the cold and sheltering from the rain.
After the raincoats, in the mid-1950s arrived also cashmere coats produced in double-face and hand warped.
The brand expands by opening up to the international market from Japan to the US and the art of packaging in Herno becomes so recognized and appreciated that it is requested by the emerging brands of those years.
The Laminar line is the most informal and technical, made of fine Goretex fabric with windproof and waterproof properties.
A great pride also derives from having created within the company a compartment called "Textile Workshop", where the fabrics used in the production of the garments are produced internally; an authentic example of “zero kilometer”.
