THE BRAND
Giorgio Brato
The stylistic research of the Italian brand is based on the constant observation of the effect of time on things: corrosion, imperfections, asymmetry, scratches, contrasts.
Stimuli that transform into unique pieces made of soft hand-crafted leather. A tireless traveler, Giorgio Brato found inspiration both in the vintage markets of the Vietnamese capital Hanoi and in the sunsets spiced with a metropolitan atmosphere, in the cherry blossoms during the Hanami season in Japan and in the eroded landscape of the "Moon Valley" in Namibia.
Since 2001 Giorgio Brato has become famous all over the world for having adopted and refined a particular hand washing technique on lambskin which makes it extremely soft and very similar to that which makes up vintage garments.
This process enhanced by meticulous work and particular attention to detail ensures that each garment made is a unique piece and adapts to the body like a second skin.
All these characteristics allow the designer to be recognized globally as one of the main heirs of true Made in Italy.
