To understand Department Five's history it is essential go back to 1977 when Mario Cangini opens Space Number Five, a small boutique in Milano Marittima where he perfectly mixes unique vintage pieces with the most exciting brands of the time.
The meeting with Nicola Silvagni in 2007 leads to the birth of Department 5
