THE BRAND
Roberto Collina
A family brand born in a small knitwear workshop in the immediate post-war period and that over the years manages through innovative machinery and constant investments in staff training to reach a global stature.
Initially intended for the German market and Northern Europe, the small workshop soon becomes the virtuous center of a territory that is changing its productive vocation to become the beating heart of the Italian knitwear system.
After the first collaborations with the most important Italian fashion houses, the early 80s are reached when the young Roberto Collina, son of the founders, decides to give his name to a capsule collection of 33 men's sweaters presented at Pitti Uomo that mark the official debut of the company on the international fashion scene. Synonymous with quality and innovation, the essence of the brand is summarized in a game of experimentation whose synergy leads to an idea of style pure in lines but sophisticated and complex in realization.
The aesthetic that guides the brand's signature is sensitive and refined and translates into an elegant attitude that elevates simplicity to purity and reduces luxury to essentiality.
